Gateway Arch
(December 18, 2002) - While in St. Louis I explored the famous Gateway Arch and took a tram ride to the top. At the top, the Arch was swaying about 6 inches side to side because of the high winds. The Arch is the tallest national monument in the United States at 630 feet and 4th most-visited tourist attraction in the world.

Martha's Vineyard
(January 1, 2003) - Traveled to Martha's Vineyard to ring in the New Year. New Years eve day we took the Auto ferry from Cape Cod to Martha's Vineyard. We spent the day shopping and visited the only winery on the island, Chicama Vineyards. We stayed over night at nice B&B called Martha's Place, which over look harbor where there was a nice fireworks display at 9PM. On New Years day we explored the entire island from Gay Head to Edgartown, Oak Bluff and back to Vineyard Haven. The unique "Carpenter's Gothic" Revival style houses are located in the Camp Ground section of Oak Bluffs. Each home is very unique in color an gingerbread trim, but the most famous is the bright pink house called the "Wooden Valentine".
